Social Security Disability

Are you unable to work due to an illness or injury? Does your child suffer from an impairment that causes profound limitations in their ability to do things that other children their age can do?  If you answered yes to either of these questions, then you or your child may be eligible for Social Security disability benefits.

Unfortunately, the application process can be long and complicated.  In fact, the majority of applications are denied initially and attorney assistance is sometimes required to reverse these decisions.  If you are thinking about applying for benefits or if you have applied and been denied, please contact us.  Jessica Fleming Oden offers free initial consultations and our fee is contingent on you receiving back benefits.  This means, if you are not found disabled, you do not owe us anything.

Veterans' Compensation

Are you a veteran who proudly served their country, but now suffers from injuries or illnesses related to your service?  Are you a widow or widower whose spouse served in the military and died due to a service connected condition?  Or, did your spouse die from a condition rated 100% disabling by the VA for ten years prior to their death?  If you answered yes to any of these three questions, then you may be eligible for VA disability compensation.

Similar to Social Security disability, the process to receive VA benefits can be quite complicated.  The process is typically even slower than Social Security disability.  If you have applied for VA benefits and have been denied, please contact us.  Jessica Fleming Oden offers free initial consultations and our fee is contingent on you receiving back benefits.  This means, if you are not found disabled, you do not owe us anything.
